The Davis Street Student Council visited the Saint Thomas More Soup Kitchen at Yale on Wednesday, January 13th. We visited this beautiful facility for the first time last year, and have built a strong partnership with them since then. All student council members in grades 3-8 attended the trip and volunteered in many different ways throughout the day. They prepared food, greeted guests, served food, passed soup, cleaned up the facility and wrapped up "to-go" meals for the visitors. These students represented Davis with poise, maturity, and sincere empathy for others. We are so very proud of them and the leadership skills they all possess. Check out the slide show below.
